Voice Lessons

Tom Burgel is one of Main Street Music's voice teachers and trumpet teachers. He graduated from Rowan University in 2024 where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Music Education. Tom is classically trained in voice and has an extensive background in musical theater. He has taken part in several musical productions including The Trail to Oregon (Mcdoon Track), Shrek the Musical (Shrek), Grease (Kenickie), and many others. He was a member of the Rowan University Concert Choir and has performed with the Rowan Opera Company several times. He has also performed with both the New Jersey All State Chorus and the All South Jersey Chorus. Tom was 1 of 3 recipients of the 2019 Atlantic County Council of Education Associations (ACCEA) Scholarship. He has a strong passion for all things music, and is extremely excited to be pursuing a career in Music Education. Tom is well regarded by his students for his positive and encouraging teaching style. Tom prides himself on being able to hone the technical abilities of his students while still maintaining their motivation to develop.
